It's been two and a half years since we at Students International in the D.R. sensed God directing us to purchase property and develop a ministry center. It has definitely been a faith project. We began the project without having the funds in hand to complete it. However, God in his faithfulness often has sent funds just as we needed them.
During the past six weeks, we have been putting the finishing touches on the chapel building and three cabins. Walls have been painted, windows and doors installed, cabinets built, sidewalks poured, plumbing and electric completed, etc. Even though there are parts of the project yet unfinished, we will now able to begin to use the center for ministry. Tomorrow we will be moving from La Casa Tranquila, which S.I has been renting for seven years, to the new facility.
Some of the construction workers pour the sidewalk to the chapel building.
Nate spent several weeks spray painting interior walls and sealing the concrete floors.
Chastity and Alicia clean cabins in preparation for the move from La Casa Tranquila.
Maggie helps get the kitchen in the chapel ready to use. Thanks to all of you who have contributed to this project through your donations, prayer, and labor.

It is really great to be able to log on and to see what is going on down there with all of you. Thank you for including us in your life. Your family and ministry is on my prayer list.
