Yesterday was an exciting day! Students International moved from the base they had rented for the last seven years to the new base. Our staff teamed together, and many hands helped to make the work lighter.
As we set up the bunk beds, moved stoves and refrigerators, and carried boxes into the dorm buildings and chapel, we could envision the ministry that will be taking place on this property. Outreach teams will be housed here as they reach out to the peoples of the D.R. The churches of Jarabacoa will also be welcome to use the new facility for conferences and retreats.
At lunch time, Lowell bought pizza for all the staff and workers who helped with the move.
