Ever since we came to the Dominican Republic over five years ago, Maggie has dreamed about going to language school. She has been studying Spanish on her own, but up until now ministry and family responsibilities haven't allowed her to attend classes.
Recently, Maggie's dream came true! Our semester program includes five weeks of intensive language study, and Maggie was able to join the class. She has been one dedicated student: getting up early in the morning, memorizing long lists of vocabulary, and working through long pages of verb conjugations. We've noticed that it has brought out her competetive side. Her first test score was second highest in her group. And well, she seems quite motovated as she studies for the next test. After all, there's a position to maintain.
