Ministry from a Different Angle

During the month of March, we hosted two short-term outreaches. In those outreaches, ninety-four high school and college students came to minister along side the Students International staff.

Up until now, Nate has worked with the outreaches, the S.I. staff and the S.I. ministeries on a supervisory level. But during one of the March outreaches, he had the privelege of temporarily stepping into the shoes of our construction ministry leader and experience ministry from a different angle. He spent five days working on a maintenance project at one of our preschools. Four young men from San Luis Obispo, California joined Nate in the project. They painted, ran water lines, and hooked up plumbing. Allen, Brian, Scott, Tim, and Nate - ready to tackle the project! The team began each day with intercession for the preschool and the community. After several hours of picking and digging a trench, we are ready to connect the water line. Preparing the school's block exterior for a fresh coat of paint.

Nate really enjoyed getting to know and work with his California crew. Their servant hearted service was a great blessing and encouragement to the preschool staff and the community.
