On Tuesday, May 3, we arrived at the airport in the capital, San Jose, ate lunch with the S.I. Costa Rica director, Jeff Dixon, and boarded the afternoon bus to San Isidro. Three hours and what seemed like hundreds of mountain curves later, Ryan and three of his friends, met us at the bus stop.
We were able to spend two days there experiencing Ryan's world. Here are a few photos and highlights of our visit.

| The Calvary Chapel Bible College extension campus in Costa Rica is in it's first semester of existence. We loved joining in on morning devotions and being able to get to know the students and staff. |
| Maggie asked Ryan if there was anything he was particularly hungry for. "Strawberry short cake," he said. So we bought strawberries at the farmers market and Maggie whipped up a wonderful short cake. That was dinner - a huge bowl of short cake topped with strawberries and milk. It was the best! |

You both look radiant/proud as you visit Ryan and see the work God has prepared in advance for him to do in CR! We are so glad to have fabulous parenting models. Thanks for your examples.
