Truth Project

We're always looking for bible studies, books or training materials to use at our weekly staff bible studies. We've done verse-by-verse studies, read and discussed leadership books, we've gone through the Crown Biblical Financial Concepts study, studies that are gender specific, and a variety of other studies. Last fall, one of our staff talked to me about The Truth Project, a video study done by Dr. Tackett that has to do with biblical word view. In December while in Texas, we were able to view several of this study's lessons and decided that this would be an excellent study for our staff. Each of the lessons in the study consists of an 60 minute video lecture followed by thirty minutes of discussion in small groups. In the first few lessons we looked at topics like, "What is Truth?", Who is Man?", and "The Cosmic Battle between the Truth and the Lie".

Our staff are so excited and engaged in this study. Vanesa, our dentist, asked me, "Nate, why haven't we done this study before?" Alberto, a teacher, said, "I'd like to go through this material with some of my friends." One staff member who tends to be consistantly late to bible studies is arriving fifteen minutes early. Francisco, our artist, wants to do this study with some of his artist friends.

We love seeing our staff impacted as they study the truth. It is especially exciting when staff want to share what they are learning with others.
