Go Maggie!

It's been a busy summer for Maggie. She filled in for the kitchen supervisor, Cheryl, who needed to spend a major part of the summer in the States preparing for her daughter's wedding.

The kitchen crew regularly prepared meals for as many as a hundred outreach participants and Students International staff. Maggie kept track of food inventories, coached the cooks, and made sure things were running smoothly. Bobbie Cade from Nebraska (second from right), volunteered three months of her summer to assist Maggie. Bobbie was tremendous blessing!Maggie is also in charge of processing all donations. We have many short-term outreach teams who bring donations to the field including school supplies, sports equipment, craft supplies, used clothing and shoes, medical and dental supplies, etc. Maggie sorts these donations and makes sure they get to our clinics, sports ministries, schools, women's centers, and other ministries.

Maggie is not one who likes to be in front of people, but she thrives in a behind-the-scenes support role.
