Chastity's Ministry Opportunities

Chastity has been helping to teach a children's bible class at a cell group in the rural community of Los Corrales. She loves to use creative activities which help the children connect with and retain the lessons she teaches.
Several weeks ago she taught the children the story of blind Bartimaeus whom Jesus healed. She blindfolded each child and had them walk and feel what it is like to be blind. Then she connected the story with a lesson on prayer. Just as Bartimaeus called out to Jesus, and Jesus responded to his cry, so God hears us when we call out to him. She was particularly excited when a week later, the children remembered the lesson she had taught them.
