Mis Primeros Pasos

In January, we opened our third Students International preschool. It is located in Los Higos, a community in the mountains. We called it, "Mis Primeros Pasos"(My First Steps). Los Higos had been requesting that we open a preschool in their community for several years. In November of 2008, God provided the funding we needed to begin.

We are starting with twelve level-one children and one teacher. Next year when these children advance to level two, we will need to add another teacher and will be able to accept another twelve children bringing our enrollment to twenty-four. Our goal is to provide a solid spiritual and education foundation for these children and to impact their families as we work with their mothers.
