New Base Progress

Since breaking ground a year ago, construction on the new Students International ministry base has been moving steadily forward. The project was started without having all the funds needed to bring it to completion, but the leadership had believed that God was directing us to move forward in faith. And God has been faithful! Repeatedly, funds have come in precisely when they were needed.

In January, a team of construction workers from River of Life Fellowship in Indiana, along with others from Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Florida came to help with the construction. What an amazing team they were! In five days they put roofs on three dorm buildings and the chapel building.

When completed, the new base will be able to house teams of sixty or more short-term missions participants. It will also be made available to the churches of Jarabacoa for retreats and conferences.
