Preschool Graduation

The previous posting features the graduation for one of Students Internationals three preschools in the D.R. The preschool is located in El Callejon, a poor community outside of Jarabacoa.

This year there were six graduates - leaving the program having learned to read. The event was held at the chapel located at the Students International base. This year Nate had the opportunity to give the graduation address. He talked about the blessing of having children but with that blessing comes parental responsibility - the responsibility to not only care for the physical needs of our children, but to also provide character training, spiritual training, training in practical skills, and formal education.
